Account Setup: To use DSTIL as a Business Owner, you are required to create an account and provide current, accurate, and complete information about yourself and your business. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
Information Accuracy: You confirm that all information submitted — including business descriptions, financials, operational data, and legal documentation — is truthful, accurate, and not misleading. You must promptly update this information as necessary. Providing false or misleading data may result in suspension or termination of your account.
4. Use and Protection of Data
Internal Use: Data shared by Business Owners is used internally to facilitate intelligent matching with potential buyers, deliver personalized tools (e.g., valuation estimates, Deal Readiness Score), and enhance platform services.
Confidential Matching: Your business profile will be anonymized during initial exposure to potential buyers. Detailed information will only be shared after mutual consent for an introduction.
Data Protection Compliance: DSTIL adheres to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable French data laws (e.g., Loi Informatique et Libertés). For full transparency, see our [Privacy Policy].
5. DSTIL’s Role & Disclaimers
Marketplace Only: DSTIL acts solely as a facilitator of initial introductions between Business Owners and buyers. We do not represent either party as an agent or broker.
Indicative Tools Only: All tools, recommendations, and insights (e.g., Deal Readiness Score, valuations) are indicative and algorithm-driven. They do not replace professional financial, legal, or tax advice.
No Transaction Guarantees: We do not guarantee business matches, transaction success, or any particular valuation outcome.
Due Diligence: Business Owners and buyers are solely responsible for conducting due diligence and obtaining professional advice before entering into any agreements.
6. Confidentiality
You agree to maintain the confidentiality of any non-public information received about potential buyers through the Platform, unless legally required to disclose such information.
7. Intellectual Property
All content and features on the DSTIL Platform are the property of DSTIL and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reuse or reproduce Platform content without explicit written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DSTIL shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Platform or third-party interactions.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold DSTIL and its affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, or losses resulting from your misuse of the Platform or violation of these T&C.
