Life at Dstil

A small team building the platform that decides how European businesses change hands. Here is what that is actually like.

The charter we hold ourselves to

Not a pitch. This is the standard we reach for when we disagree, and the one you would be held to.

  1. Camaraderie

We win as a team. Strong bonds, mutual support, and shared success drive everything we do.

Everything anyone ships is visible to everyone else the same day. There is nowhere to hide a problem — which also means nobody takes credit for your work but you.

  2. Keep it Simple

Complexity loses games. We focus on clear strategies, direct execution, and elegant solutions.

We would rather ship the version we can explain in one sentence than the one that covers every case. If a feature needs a diagram to justify it, it is not ready.

  3. Eyes on the Goal

When problems arise, we focus on solutions.

M&A has long feedback loops. We measure ourselves on whether a business actually changed hands — not on how much we shipped that month.

What the work actually is

Three things about this product that shape every day of building it.

The whole path, not a slice

Readiness scoring, the data room, the teaser, matching and the introduction are one product, not five. You would work across several of them rather than inside one box.

Confidentiality is a constraint, not a feature

Profiles are anonymised before any buyer sees them, and identities are disclosed only after both sides opt in. That rules out whole categories of easy solution, and it is written into our terms.

European from the first line

The product ships in three languages and the data stays in the EU. Neither of those was retrofitted, and neither is negotiable.

Working with us

No named roles are open right now

When there are, they will be listed here. We would rather leave this section honest than pad it.

Write to us anyway

We read every message that arrives, and we would rather hear from you early than not at all. A useful one tells us:

  • Which part of the platform you would want to work on, and why that one.
  • Something you have built, shipped or closed — not a list of tools.
  • The languages you work in.

Not here about a job?

The rest of Dstil is built for two other people.
